After 4 months of intense learning, I’m excited to share that I’ve officially completed MIT “Designing Products & Services with AI”.
Throughout this program, I explored the full AI design process end to end: from understanding performance metrics and business strategy to studying machine learning, deep learning, HCI, generative AI, and how intelligent systems can be applied to real problems. More than just learning tools, I learned how to structure and design AI solutions that create real impact.
AI can create real impact inside companies, far beyond chatbots or basic automations. This course showed me how intelligent systems can streamline operations, improve decision-making, boost efficiency, and generate tangible business value. And that’s exactly what motivates me to start applying everything I’ve learned in real world scenarios.
A special thank-you to Ricardo Villaça , who guided us in every weekly session. Besides being the Lead of the AI & Business specialization at University of Cambridge and MIT Professional Education through Emeritus, and he also brings real world experience from working as an IT Manager at Globo and a Marketing Coordinator at IBM . His clear explanations, real examples, and practical approach made even the most complex topics easier to understand and added tremendous value to the entire program.
I’m also incredibly grateful to everyone in our student group and weekly discussions. The quality of the cohort was outstanding, with software engineers from Netflix , data scientists from Ambev , former CTO of PicPay , executives from Nubank and Alelo Brasil, marketing managers from major companies, surgeons, and many other exceptional professionals. Learning alongside people with such diverse and high level backgrounds made every conversation richer. I absorbed so much from their experiences, perspectives, and real cases, and it genuinely elevated the entire learning journey.
Finishing this program is only the first step in a long journey in my professional life. I have a strong desire to grow and continue expanding my knowledge and this experience reinforced that more than ever.
One milestone completed. Many more to come. And I’m just getting started. 🚀
