Great results do not always come from complexity, but from clear priorities and efficient execution.
This weekend, I took part in my first hackathon: an AI Agents challenge hosted by Amazon Web Services (AWS) , organised by Canastra Ventures, with support from Replit , ElevenLabs and TESS AI.
As a technical high school student, it was motivating to be in an environment with such a high level of talent. There were many highly capable people in the room, including members of the Canastra Ventures team helping us to develop the ideia.
Our MVP was simple: a multi agent AI system designed to help mining companies improve their relationship with small communities where they operate. We built a responsive web application through which citizens could submit feedback, while a team of AI agents processed the data, generated insights, statistics and strategic communication drafts for the company.
The greatest takeaway was clear: in a hackathon, success depends less on complexity and more on effective execution, smart prioritisation and a well coordinated team.

We did not make the podium, but we learned a tremendous amount and left with a much stronger foundation for the next one.
