Europe is trying to build the future of payments. Brazil has already lived part of it.
That made my last week in Ireland even more meaningful for me.
I attended the BPFI - Banking & Payments Federation Ireland conference in Dublin, representing Inspire4U | Athena 7 , following an invitation from Igor Marchetti and the IBA team. Diego Perez , President of ABFintechs, was also with us.
Being in that environment, discussing Pix and seeing how seriously Europe is looking at instant payments, regulation and financial infrastructure, was a big moment for me. It was clear how relevant Brazil’s experience has become in this global conversation.
Beyond the event itself, the networking, the conversations afterwards and the meetings that followed made the whole experience even more valuable for my career. As someone building a path in technology and fintech, being part of this was something I was genuinely proud of.
A big thank you to Igor Marchetti and the whole IBA - Innovation Business Alliance (IBA), Brasil team for the support and for welcoming us so well in Ireland.
I’ll definitely be keeping a close eye on Ireland and everything happening there in fintech and payments.
